Shippings and Opinions(What to do and NOT to do!)

Salutations my fellow Kingdom Hearts comrades! It's me! Ayame!



It’s been awhile since I made a blog entry-- however I couldn’t help but notice we’re having a shipping crisis here...

Our latest journal entry got a bit of attention on mostly the negative side, while it brought out a lot of the great fans of a certain ship, it also brought out the people who don't want to see this sort of thing in this sort of group.


I have no issues with awesome debating and conversation, trying to determine the significance of characters or find the reason someone likes the ship, basically I have no problem with 'intellectual discussion', which is what I have seen for the most part--

however I do have problems with bashing.

In mentioning the latest journal entry(and I mean obviously before this one) the post was not meant to be taken as a ‘whole group’ decision. When you read that “Oh this person posted this.” It means that is solely based on one persons opinion, or research, or information they have gathered themselves on their own time, not the entirety of the group. While it is posted to the group, it is indeed not a group effort to write a blog entry, it is focused on either the blogger or, in rare cases due to my life being busy, me when I have time.


So in stating this, it is safe to say that we all have our own ships when it comes to Kingdom Hearts, as well as what we deem is better or worse, makes sense or not, sexy or cute, etc. We got our own opinions yo, there ain’t no problem with that.


Debate and discussion is always encouraged! But flat out bashing someone for their interests and likes is not welcomed or enjoyed. IE calling someone “gross” for shipping Kairi and Sora together.



While I’m not a fan of the ship, let’s not point fingers and call someone elses interests disgusting.

Cuz I mean some of yall is real durty anywae so who is you to judge amirite??

When I used to be the only blogger, I did my best to keep my personal opinions out of my posts for, yes, the sake of feeling unbiased so that all fans from everywhere can join the group and not feel judged for their interests. However this did not mean I never posted my opinions, I simply kept them as small small SMALL mentioning's and tiny sentences so that they would go unnoticed to the eyes of those not reading completely.



If you had paid attention to me at all, you would know fairly well that I’m a very very yaoi shipper. Much wow. Such unf.



And that I dislike Kairi with a burning passion.




Is that wrong of me? Am I a horrible person? Um no, I’m not. Maybe just a dirty person but not horrible.

If you don’t like my opinion there are plenty of other groups out there focused only on ships and not on the entirety of the games themselves. So you can take out your frustration there. If we were a KH group solely focused on SoraxKairi, then we would be titled SoraxKairi group and not , sometimes we will post our opinions and our thoughts on things, that's the point of using this blog... to post our research, what we like and find exciting, and then we ask "Hey what about you guys? What do you guys like and find exciting?"


My point about all this is that I enjoy reading debates and conversations, not fights and bickering.


If you do not like what is being posted then I also do not mind hearing complaints noted to me (which there already have been thanks so much I enjoy coming online to bathe in the hate of my enemies) or even to the group itself. Just don’t post on the group page or the journal about why this and that is wrong or how you don’t enjoy who this and that did. Take it privately.


Though now that that's out the way, I'd love everyone's opinions on who they love to ship in the Kingdom Hearts universe and why. Here's maybe a few questions to answer when mentioning your ship that you've sailed with:

Who's your favorite ship, your OTP?
When was the first time you shipped them?
Why did you see potential in their relationship?
10/10 would bang?

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to look up some SORAXRIKU ISH.
